ANCHOR BOLT MANUFACTURING
Anchor rods, also known as anchor bolts, concrete embeds, or foundation bolts, are set into concrete foundations to provide support for structural steel columns, light poles, traffic signals, highway sign structures, industrial equipment, and various other applications.
Colgan Industries specializes in manufacturing anchor rods ranging from 1/2″ to 4″ in diameter. We make straight, bent and headed anchor bolts. These anchor rod assemblies are available in various ASTM specifications, including F1554 grades 36, 55, 105, and A193 Grade B7, as well as stainless steel, alloy, and exotic materials. Services performed in our facility such as anchor plate fabrication, pipe sleeves, plate washers, anchor plates, and welding ensure fast delivery and superior quality. Bolts are available in either plain steel or hot-dip galvanized finishes, with all manufacturing processes performed and completed in-house.

ANCHOR BOLTS
Anchor bolts are embedded in concrete and used to support structural steel columns, light poles, highway signs, heavy equipment, and many other applications. The tack welded nut / plate or hook portion of the anchor bolt creates resistance so that the bolt does not pull out of the concrete foundation when force is applied.
All Thread Rod / Epoxy Anchors
All thread rod anchors are used in post-pour applications. The anchor / threaded rod is typically inserted into a pre-drilled hole in the concrete. The hole is then filled with epoxy that once cured, will bond the threads on the rod and the existing concrete and create a uniform holding capacity.

Wedge Anchors
Wedge anchors are the option used for solid concrete and consist of an anchor body, expansion clip, nut, and washer. The anchor body is threaded and inserted into a pre-drilled hole in the concrete. The expansion clip ensures a uniform holding capacity that increases as tension is applied.
